Today I launched my 10th Kickstarter as part of the Make 100 open call.
The open call encourages creators to launch small projects in January that offer 100 rewards. It’s a great way to start small or launch that one idea that’s been in your head. Kickstarter has been such a lifeline for my business and I enjoy using the open calls to challenge myself creatively. This Make 100 project happens to be a tarot enamel pin inspired by a 1995 episode of The Simpsons that really captures the “WTF is really going on?” vibe that 2025 has started on. It’s also a reminder that in times of uncertainty, there is still space for laughter and joy.
The beauty of funding some of my most popular products on Kickstarter is the community I’ve been able to build. There are several people who have backed just about every Kickstarter I’ve launched since 2018. That’s love. That’s trust in not only the vision, but my ability to bring it to life and follow through with making sure the pledges are delivered as promised. It feels like a gift to have my work supported in this way. If you are a creative/business owner looking to fund your work and build community I’d highly recommend taking your talents to Kickstarter. With initiatives being rolled back and government chaos, businesses and creatives alike need to connect with community and nurture that reciprocal relationship. Community and caring about one another is imperative.
With that being said, in tandem with my Kickstarter launch I’ve decided to paint 3 new paintings and donate half of the proceeds to Altadena families affected by the LA fires via GoFundMe. My initial launch date was 1/13, but with everything going on I needed some time to regroup. My business isn’t fueled by profits or keeping strict deadlines. It’s fueled by passion, purpose and doing what I feel is right for me.
Art for Altadena
“Powered By Love” | 12” x 12” | Acrylic on canvas | $350
Roses have an exceptionally high vibrational frequency and are a symbol of love and connection. This painting represents being powered by love for self, community, family, my art and all that is good.
“Inflated Value (America)” | 12” x 12” | Acrylic on canvas | $350
The beanie baby craze that came to an end in the United States due to theft, fraud, market manipulation and disappointment now seems to have been foreshadowing. Inspired by a beanie baby named “America”.
“My First Keychain” | 12” x 12” | Acrylic on canvas | $350
Literally my first key chain and introduction to the cool that is associated with LA.

These paintings will be listed on my Kickstarter, but can also be purchased through my website if Kickstarter isn’t your thing. When and if purchased, the GoFundMe contribution will be shared publicly for transparency. If anyone you know loves or collects art, please share!
